I had the opportunity to work as a freelance journalist
for Patch.com.
Patch is a website that does hyper-local news and provides information
about businesses in individual towns.
Most of my news coverage was either about government
activities, or the arts.
Patches I have written for include Riverdell (Oradell
and
River Edge, NJ), Mahwah, Hasbrouck Heights, Wyckoff, Kinnelon
(Butler, Kinnelon and Bloomingdale, NJ), and
New Milford.

Two New Crossroads Ordinances Proposed To
Address Resident Concerns
Yet another article from my Development Wah-tch
Column - the ongoing effort to rezone the area of Mahwah off of
Route 17 where is ends and meets I-287. This has stirred debate
for years and years now. And continuing on that theme:
Town
Council Votes 4-2 In Favor Of Crossroads Rezoning Ordinances
I sat through one of the longest, most heavily
attended town council meetings in years. It was quite the unique
experience. My article was the first published - before any other
local sources.
